7.13.18 Redbush & Peculiar Patriots

Redbush was formed in 2001 by high school pals Ev Bruhnke and J.D. Korpitz. After nine years of band moves, member changes, DIY recordings and alcoholism, the band’s founding members eventually decided to buckle down in their home state of Wyoming. Their primary focus was on making quality records and touring the country. With bassist Ian McKillip on board, 2010 through 2013 were very productive years. Redbush did seven U.S. tours and two studio releases, Wonder Nugget (One Legged Pup 2011) and Milk Maid (Whoa! Boat Records 2013), to positive regional and online reviews. At the end of 2013, Ian left the band and was replaced by Larson Lind. After three U.S. tours, and with a new creative edge brought in by Larson, Redbush has completed production on a new LP. The album, titled Gaslight Lockdown, is out NOW on the locally owned and operated label DLF Records. This will mark the most inspired and progressive effort by Redbush to date!

Peculiar Patriots

Peculiar Patriots'

Mix New Orleans Jazz, soul, blues, and a hint of some low down dirty funk, and you have the Peculiar Patriots. Based out of Laramie, each member lays down their part as if they were the only one on stage, and the front-man harness’ his inner Sachmo so well, if you closed your eyes, you would think you were back in a 20’s speakeasy.
