8.3.18 – The Shakes w/ Slow Caves

The Shakes

The Shakes

Maybe you’ve heard of them or maybe you haven’t been listening…
This group believes that the fundamental keys to a successful, sought-after band are maintaining tight friendships within the group, playing great music and making sure the audience has a truly fantastic time. Hailing from all over the Denver metropolitan area, these four are looking to get whatever venue or event they’re currently rocking, really hopping.
Pivotal to their success is the band’s ability to mix together a crowd pleasing set list of songs that most everyone knows well, even spicing the show up now and then with a couple lesser known gems, all the while keeping the groove accessible and energetic.
This band’s goal is to truly entertain, get the audience happy, celebrate life & music and fill the dance floor

Slow Caves

Slow Caves

Listening to Slow Caves, one is reminded that being sonically interesting doesn’t mean that a band must sacrifice having old fashioned hooks or pop sensibilities. Danish born brothers, Jakob and Oliver Mueller, provide the vocal and guitar backdrop for Slow Caves, a band (rounded out by childhood friends David Dugan – guitar/bass, and Jackson Lamperes – drums) who offer a relaxed and surf-y update on 80’s synth, 90’s jangle, and early aught’s indie rock. Formed in Ft. Collins, CO in 2014, Slow Caves quickly gained a reputation as a must-see local attraction.
